KUPANG, fortuna.press – A cyclist from Madar Pro Cycling Team of Algeria, participating in Tour de Entete (TdE) 2025, expressed his enjoyment of the natural beauty, weather, and hospitality of the people of East Nusa Tenggara.
This is his first time visiting Indonesia, and he is thrilled to experience the hot climate and challenging racing routes.
He also acknowledged the friendliness and ease of communication with the Indonesian people, particularly in Kupang, NTT.
“The weather is hot, but the racing route is challenging. However, one thing we like is that the people of Kupang are friendly,” he said during a lunch reception hosted by the Regent of Kupang at the Regent’s Office on Tuesday, September 9, 2025.
The cyclist is optimistic about completing the challenging routes of NTT and believes he can win in Labuan Bajo.
The Regent of Kupang, Yosef Lede, welcomed the participants and officials, inviting them to enjoy the natural beauty and hospitality of Kupang.
The lunch reception was filled with joy and entertainment, featuring a traditional Sasando music performance and a chance for participants to try local UMKM products.
Madar Cycling Team of Algeria is one of the 17 teams from 13 countries participating in this international cycling tournament, which aims to showcase the natural, marine, and cultural tourism potential of East Nusa Tenggara to the world. (team/fidel/42na)
