SOE, fortuna.press – Timor Tengah Selatan (TTS) or Middle-South Timor regency is astronomically at 124°10’57” East Longitude and 9°51’37” South Latitude or about 110 km from Kupang city, East Nusa Tenggara Province. TTS is regency in Timor Island that has a cool weather and can be the place for weekend.
The natural beauty of its nature and lushness of fruit trees make it more attractive and fascinating to enjoy. The customs and tradition is still maintained becomes a filter for foreign culture that can affect the people of TTS Regency mentally.
TTS Regency can be reached from two main directions, namely Belu – Timor Tengah Utara Regency and SoE or Kupang-SoE by land transportation. If by airplane, TTS can be reached directly from Eltari International Airport Kupang by taxi or by public transportation to Oebobo–Kupang terminal then to SoE. From Tenau harbour Kupang it can be reached directly by taxi or by public transportation to Oebobo–Kupang terminal to get public transportation. The journey takes about 2-3 hours.

Kolbano Beach
Located 130 km from Kupang, in Kolbano village. Kolbano Beach offers you an impressive panoramic view of an area of about 27 km wide. It can be reached 4 or 5 hours by bus or car from Kupang. Although it is not professionally managed as a tourism object, Kolbano beach is one of the most beautiful sites to visit. Its nature’s charm and colour stones welcomes you for relaxing after a long trip from Kupang.
Oehala Waterfall
Located 13 km from Soe, this waterfall offers a unique feature of nature. The water drops over seven big levels. As the air is comfortably fresh, it is ideal spot for relaxing while enjoying the beauty of waterfall and its surrounding.
Boti Tribe
Boti tribe is the native descents of Timor, Atoni Metu, who still maintain their ancestral culture. The area of Boti kingdom located 40 kilometers from Soe is administratively included in Boti village Kie district. As its location is the middle of mountains, Boti is closed to modern civilization and new development.
The Reserve of Mutis Mountain
The Reserve of Mutis Mountain is located about 15 kilometers from Kapan in North Mollo or 140 kilometers the north east of Kupang city is one the attractive objects in South Central Timor regency and East Nusa Tenggara province. It is famed for its mountains of marbles called faut kanaf or name stone. Under the faut kanaf, there are water resources called oe kanaf or water of stone.
Oetune Beach
Oetune Beach as one of the beautiful beaches with its unique characteristic and can be regarded as “Kuta Beach” in TTS regency. The clean beach reminds people on the most beautiful beach in the world “Kuta Beach-Bali”.Natural panorama of Oetune Beach is a very amazing one. To reach this area we start going from Kupang and when getting Noelmina bridge then turning right. We get the beach for about 20 km journey.
